Genetics work in funny ways. Just cause you dont see it doesn't mean its not there

For example I have a hen that is part Silkie and part EE and you would never know it, not a hint of silkie or EE in her looks. I know her parentage though so I know its there. Im assuming the person that owns the rooster above know the roosters parentage also.

yes like stated above just because you don't see a certain breed in the chicken doesn't meant its not there. and actually he has 5 toes just like a silkie.
