Cool off

Those little "cakes" they are enjoying are water and corn frozen together! They love it! I read that on hot days you an give the "cakes" to the chickens so they can cool off.

I have frozen veggies and fruit in water in plastic Tupperware for hot days. Slides out and the larger blocks last longer during the day to keep them cool.

They also LOVE frozen watermelon. Cut in 1/2 or 1/4's (if large) and freeze, super easy.

Mine love watermelon.. I did freeze it and they are it so fast. It's been really hot so I have been freezing everything I give them. I have also taken some mealworms and froze in a cup they liked that too.
