Use these gate latches. They can be opened from either side. Lockable from either side as well. If the door sags there is a little bit of allowance. If it moves way out of alignment then the bolt can be moved up or down. So unless someone actually locks you in, then you are safe.I need suggestions for a coop door latch/lock. Has to be predator proof but also will not lock me in the coop lol. I wanted to use the sliding lock but it’s too big for the door trim…. and i can’t use a t-lock because of the door supports…

Yes i did see! I ended up just using bolt locks for everything, so far so good! Thanks!
