Coop lighting for my benefit?

Chickens need their dark time. Constant light can cause them to lay funky eggs. Meat spots, blood spots, and body checked eggs for example.

Flashlight.

Unless you're like my wife. She doesn't know what could be lurking in the dark shadows so bigger the light and more light the better. Shhh. I wouldn't tell anyone.

I like my need for the light is so when I walk up I can see what is going on...not by finding something I don't want to suddenly. lol.

I installed a motion sensing security flood light over my coops door. 2 LED bulbs.

As I approach the coop, it illuminates my way nicely.

The second bulb is directed into the coop door.

When the door is open, it floods the coop with plenty of light to gather eggs, or whatever.
