Will be converting one of the horse stalls into a chicken coop with my dad tomorrow, will be sure to post some pictures once its all said and done. It's a 10x10 stall with two sides going to be dedicated to nest boxes around 4ft off the ground with another side of the stall having perch ledges so the chicks can roost.
Not a coop exactly - but here's my brooder/tractor.
I have 2 EE mix chicks in the brooder part right now (about 4.5weeks old). Soon as they are a little bigger, they will get access to the run part until they are big enough to join the flock in the big coop.
My new coop and run. Lots of late nights in the garage but worth it. It is " modular"? If that s the right word. Although not a chicken tractor, it can be very easily moved. The run is only attached to the [coop with two steel pins. The coop is on wheels and not very heavy.
