I think hackle/saddle feathering at 3-6 months can get sketchy....
...but lots of red in comb and wattles at 3-6 weeks is a pretty good bet.

This is the Lavender now...he/she still has me stumped but I feel is looking less boy-ish.

(Face is redder than normal due to heat I think)

My buckeyes look way more masculine at this point and the lav’s comb hasn’t grown for some time.

That's a wonderful job you've done. There was a gorgeous Amish-style coop in great condition they were selling for $300 locally and I missed it. After seeing the much better pictures of yours I'm kicking myself. lol
