Cooped up in the coop

I have had my chicken in the coop with the door shut for almost a week now. The chicks are about 5 weeks old. How long should I keep them in there without opening the door?

I kept mine in for 4 days, but let them out for an hour or two every afternoon. I'd say you can let them out any time! The first few nights getting them to go in can be frustrating.
