Has anyone tried something like this? Will the chooks leave it alone?
Will it work for early morning wake up calls when the days start getting shorter?
--and if this is a bad idea what have others used?
--and yes, lol ETA: Ideally I'm looking for something with a built in timer so that I don't have to go flip a switch at 5 a.m.

I have NO electrical outlets outside so I have to get creative.
I am concerned too that it won't get enough sun to run proper come winter anyway (not enough to charge the solar battery)
This is warm white, they have the cooler bright white on Amazon too.
