A local museum here in NC has some crested wood partridge in their butterfly house. They are a tropical bird, I think from near the Phillipines. They are beautiful blue-green shimmery color, and have a gentle whistle sound. Does anyone know of a breeder? I would LOVE to hatch some eggs, but have been unable to locate a seller.

I just looked up the picture and I could swear I have seen them on eggbid. If you cannot find a breeder it maybe a good place to start. They are very pretty birds by the way.

There is a type of pheasant that looks similar, but they are the size of, well, a partridge. cute and beautiful! Thanks for the tip!
