I just noticed that one of my chicken pullets has a crooked beak !! They are 12 weeks old and I noticed that this one hen has a beak like a eagle only to pick her up and that is when I seen it. It looks like the lower beak can't connect correctly because the upper one is too long. Could I snip off the tip of the upper beak or is this just causing undo harm and will return. Will she pass this on to her offspring next year when I hatch replacements?
