Crossing my Plymouth Rock Rooster

I have just one purebred plymouth rock hen, so she will stay with my PR rooster. The other girls that are used to him are barnavelders but I"m not sure how the chicks will look Should I swap them for some black and white layers, from my other coop or leave him with the girls he's used to? Has anyone crossed plymouth rocks with completely different color shades? Would love to see pics if you have.

Don't have pics, as I'm terrible at taking pics anymore.

However your Barred rock rooster will cause all chicks to be black barred since the barring is dominant. He *should* have if he is pure 2 barring genes, so all chicks will be black with white dot over your Barnie hens. (Love my Barnies btw).

Should be really nice layers.
