Long story short I was eating a hunk of cake yesterdaY when a large crumb fell out and got lodged under my number seven key. I tried to shake it out to no avail. So they key doesn't work. What is really messed up is that a small moth just crawled out of my keyboard. EWWWWWW....

Unplug your keyboard. Then, get sticky tape, lay it sticky up and pop each key off, sticking it to the tape in order. Wipe out the base, use canned air if needed, then snap the keys back on in order, wiping them off as needed.
