How are you setting up waterers for the babies. Would love pictures of your setup. My hens eggs just started hatching and all of a sudden it dawned on me the babies can’t use the adults bucket watered.

you can use an adult waterer, just place marbles in the tray so they can't drown. LOTS of marbles

We've been using chicken nipples for the adults. I've got some juvenile chickens who will be integrated with the rest of my flock in another 3 weeks or so, so my plan was to use their Mason jar waterers after a very thorough cleaning. Once the mamas teach them to drink, I'm planning to put some welded wire around them so baby heads can get through but the adults have to go back to the nipple feeder.

Move him to another pen. They have no need of him any more this spring.

I don't have a separate pen to move him to at present, but I may build one. He hasn't touched an egg in several days now, so I think we're good

Move him to the freezer........ My life has been much better since my bellybutton went to my corn suppliers home for Easter.

Do you not keep your breeding Toms for more than a year?

Yep. Depending on their attitude and mine....
