Cuckoo Marana hen or rooster?

Hi, so I'm a new official user to this site and have a questions about my cuckoo Maran. she/he is about 8 months old and is not laying or crowing. I was told that it was a hen when I first purchased her but now I'm not to sure. Any help figuring it out would be appreciated.

I was thinking it's a cockerel to but there is no crowing or other signs that I can tell other than the looks.

Looks like a cockerel to me as well. Those look like sickle and saddle feathers

That's a cockerel. Hens simply do not get those long, pointy feathers on the neck or base of the tail.

Cockerel, also notice a difference between his two legs . Do you have an alpha rooster? In deference to him lower rung cockerels usually don't have the nerve to crow and get beaten.
