Curved Beak

I’m curious. I have a chick who seems to have a more curved beak that the others. She doesn’t seem to have any problems eating or drinking. Is this in the realm of normal?

I’m a first time chicken mama and spend weird amounts of time just observing behavior and checking their little bodies out for issues - so far, they all seem to be doing great but that doesn’t stop me from, okay, obsessing.

Monitor as the chick grows to assure that it does not overgrow enough to impede eating. I think that it will be okay.

Thanks. I will keep an eye on her. She is so sweet and curious so she approaches me often. We’ll hope this is just a unique quality, not a real problem.

As @sourland said just watch her. I had a cross beak. I did have to trim her beak once in awhile. She didn't do well eating pellets so she got crumbles. She lived to be 3 years old and then a fox got her. I got the fox.
