Not fancy or print but they all love it and it makes it easy and fun for me. I have duck's so I had to figure out something that was cleaner and more efficient.

Quote: Ya. I like your watering system. I want nipple waterers in future too, for chickens to get 100% clean water, + aint gonna need for changing waterers so regulary.
But only inside coop should think something to dont moisture ground, it specially in winter.

If u glue the saddles they won't ever leak . I have had mine for a few years now. I just bought all the supplies again as a gift for my neghber and did it for her as a Christmas present. She calls me at least once a week to tell me it's awesome. ;) the nipple's where 100 for 20.00 (e bay) she has a lot more animals than we have. So I used a 55 galon tub. She fills it every 2 weeks.

I'll post pictures when it's day light.

I got tired of cleaning open water bowls that the chickens and the wild birds would leave poop in them and had to clean out the bowls 2-3x daily. Solved my problem with Brite Tap nipple valve waterers that attach to the spigot of Rubbermaid 2-gallon jugs. It's recommend that the ratio is 12 chickens per each jug. But I only have 4 birds and got 3 Brite Taps and position one inside their coop and the other two jugs around the yard. Easy to pick up and carry to a cleaning station about once every 2 or 3 weeks depending on how hot the weather is. The water stays cool in the jug not for hours but for DAYS. We removed all the open water sources and got our smartest chicken to understand that water comes from the valve nipples. The other chickens got the idea from watching her.
