I didn't take any pictures today but the gathering was a little odd. Four normal eggs , one was laid on the floor and broke, and one rubber egg. Strange morning.

This is all we get for now, the other 2 RSL's should start laying anytime and the the Babies are a good month away from laying.

Oooh... I found the photo I was looking for. This was one day's haul, and laid out to show the variety of colors and sizes...

The one on the far right was a store-bought egg.

I took this when I my first "wombo" egg I only had 6 layers at the time - the wombo was 3.8 ozs.!

i have a rhode island red and a dominic possibly barred rock who are both 23 weeks old and they still arent laying there both squatting for us but no eggs is this normal im worried:/

Here are the eggs that I have gathered so far today. I should get about 5 more before the day is done. So far our record is 29 eggs out of 32 hens. Not bad! Our chickens have been laying for just over a month.
