I have sucessfully used leftover bones from chicken wings. Put them in the back of the trap. Works every time.

Hey Banker John, its Jessica in Inverness.
The coons are nasty around us arent they? Mean little boogers, they are always here and always trying to kill. I have found that good cheap canned cat food does the trick. U buy at Savelot, or dollar store.
We once caught a mama possum, and when we went out there, there was a mess of tails sticking out her pouch. Let the one go, didn't have the heart.
Our problem is the coons are way smart and they have figured out how to get the can without triggering the trap.
