Deflating the turkey.

Where did you have to stick the needle in to deflate them? I’m have this same problem with my turkey her whole body is filled with air. Please help!

I am doing this now with a poult. Did yours eventually heal up? If so how long did it take. I have drained the air out of poult a few times but it fills back up. He acts fine but looks aweful

You want to make a small ragged cut so that it will stay open long enough to keep the air out while it heals. Using a needle doesn't work as well as using a lance.
