Where did you have to stick the needle in to deflate them? I’m have this same problem with my turkey her whole body is filled with air. Please help!

I am doing this now with a poult. Did yours eventually heal up? If so how long did it take. I have drained the air out of poult a few times but it fills back up. You want to make a small ragged cut so that it will stay open long enough to keep the air out while it heals. Using a needle doesn't work as well as using a lance.I am doing this now with a poult.
