My duck isnt being himself and his siblings keep picking on him:(. He sits alot, doesnt keep his wings straight and he wont talk to his other companions. We kept him inside for a night he was better in the morning but the next day he was sad again. I was wondering if i should keep him away from the others or feed him differnt food. Any feed back would be appreciated. Thanks.

How old is the duck? Old enough to be sure you have a drake?

What food are you using? Do they have food with water 24/7?

I would consider getting a fecal sample to a vet to look for problems. A visit to a good duck vet would be great, and I understand it's not always possible.

From the symptoms, it could be almost anything, including a systemic infection, a virus, bacterial infection, parasites, just so much could be going on, including metal toxicity or other toxin.

You could put a tablespoon of food grade activated charcoal powder in a pint, pint-and-a-half of drinking water with him overnight. Activated charcoal is used to help bind up toxins in the gut.

Very rough.

Do you want to have a necropsy done to know what happened? It may be an option.
