We built ours, too. All materials are free/recycled except for screws and hinges. Already had the tools, I think it cost us about $35 to build the coop and run, plus our time.

We are repurposing a coop from a friend of ours. His last hen passed away recently and not interested in getting anymore. So he asked if we wanted it because he knew we were planning on building one in early spring. I do plan on modifying it to my liking though. You know, to reflect my taste and a new run.

Wow that was very awesome. Just spent the last half hour going through your build log. Very awesome! Does the chicken camera still work? I tried seeing if it loaded but it didn't.
