do all chickens turn into little monsters during the moult?

or is it just mine?

I had real problems with one biting everything, including me during her recent moult and now one of my other girls has started acting up, feather pulling, getting up in my face aggressive and generally being a complete monster hen while she is clearly moulting feathers all over the place. Is this normal and should we just let it go until they are felling better? *(they are getting extra mealworms/protein to help keep them in good condition)
