Dominique’s?????

These 2 were out of same hatch. They are supposed to be Dominique chickens…can anyone confirm they are and not barred rock and maybe tell me what sex they probably are. New chicken mom here lol!!! Thank you

One Barred Rock pullet, and one Dominique cockerel. The one with the spikey comb is called a single comb- that's your BR. The one with the flat comb is called a rose comb- that's your Dominique.

No she’s supposed to be a girl lol but I had a feeling she was a he! But the other one was supposed to be her sister, a Dominique, so I don’t understand how she isn’t but maybe he mixed up his eggs before he hatched them, idk. Thank you for your reply!

Sorry I replied to the wrong post. No I can’t have a rooster so that makes me sad but thank you for clarifying, not sure how they are different but he incubating the eggs so maybe he mixed some up.
