Drake identification

Not sure what our drake is... Welsh Harlequin? Silver Appleyard? Mix? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Is it an adult? If not it might be too soon to tell. I would guess a female from the pictures. Females have more of a quack than males also.. so try listening to her/him.

We have a female Pekin also pictured here. This is definately a drake. They are 13 weeks old.

could be a silver Appleyard but maybe his head has not greened up all the way yet. I did not have my Appleyards as babies so I am not sure. Both are adorable.

Thank you, they are a cute couple. He just started to get some green this week. A couple of more weeks maybe we can really tell. We love him no matter what

Not a welsh unless hes a very very poor quality one. Incorrect coloring, wrong body carriage and type and looks big.

Same for appleyard. Incorrect body type and color, incorrect bill color and stance.

I would say you've got a mixed breed

WH drake, but still young. Head is just starting to green up. Overall color may get darker too.
