Duck Coop ideas

I would say go as big as you possibly can, and make sure you can walk into the duck coop for easy cleaning. It's also nice to have it large enough that if you ever need to section off some of the ducks for any reason, you can divide it into a couple sections. I just doubled the inside part of duck coop and wish I had made it that big from the start.

I am hoping the enclosure will be moveable so I can move it around the field when they get one part muddy. But if it isn’t moveable fake grass is a great idea around the paddling pool.

we recently did our own diy large duck coop 9 or so months ago and decided to use a concrete slab to make it critter proof and hardware cloth for the coop walls, we have a vid on youtube which shows how we did it if you think it may be helpful to you. It's been great and we haven't hit our heads once. . We built it a little bit different to how we built our chicken coop.

I just went ahead and built a 'she shack', so if the bird thing fizzled, then the building is easily re-purposed.

I was thinking that this could be a good enclosure where I could put a paddling pool and duck houses for them at night, etc. We will only have four ducks in here as we have decided to get only two more ducks rather than three.

I think they would have 40 squared feet each!
