i was wondering if you could make a duck coop out of plywood

Yes, I don't see why you couldn't. What breed of ducks do you have?

I think you can make a duck house out of just about anything. I've seen some creative projects on this site. Mine is a little tikes playhouse :)
 
Mine is just plywood and a 2x4 frame. There are hinges on the top, so half of it flips up so it's easy to clean or get into for eggs. For winter I'll have to figure out something different, but for now it works. They only go in it in the daytime when it's very hot for shade. Even though they have lots of trees to lay under.....

Yes, you absolutely CAN make duck coops out of plywood (CDX is fine), just be sure and keep it STAINED with solid color stain (paint isn't as good as stain--give up paint!!!!!!!!!!!), even a fresh coat yearly.

Plastic can be draped to help with weather protection.

I am no expert, but I put some ideas in another duck coop thread started very recently by....someone..........not me
 
Okay because I was planning on doing that. Why can't you use paint?
