Hi a couple days ago I noticed my Pekin had a swollen foot. Upon closer inspection I realized it looked like bumblefoot with a solid infection in the mass. However it is on top of her foot not the bottom. I gave her a nice soak got out as much of the infection as I could at the time and wrapped her foot with some silver sulfadiazine on gauze. Well I am checking on it again today and as expected there is more of the infection coming to the surface. But the swelling seems a bit worse. I forgot to take pics the other day because I was too busy with her. I got some pics just now before bringing her inside for another soak.
Is this actually bumblefoot or something else? Is there anything more I can do for her? I sadly can’t compare this foot swelling to her other as she broke a toe when she was 3 months old, so the other foot is permanently a touch larger.
