In the Brooder
Hope you guys can help,
We got three ducks who are fairly happily cohabiting with our five hens.
I'm extending their run so the 8 of them have more space and am going to install a corner bath as a pond for the ducks!
When I create the extension I would love it if both the hens and ducks have full reign in the entire run, but I do want to make access to the pond area a duck only zone.
Has anyone tried this or know of any way to prevent the hens going up to the pond (and potentially drowning) yet still gives the ducks access???
Aside from microchipping and using cat flaps I can't think around this!!!
Best wishes and thank you
