I have 4 blue Swedish ducks (3 drakes and 1 hen) and 2 young chickens( both pullets, 1 barred rock and 1 buff Orpington). My ducks are about three months old and they haven't fought each other yet. I was wondering if when the Ducks and chickens get older will my 3 drakes fight over the one female duck then try to breed with my chickens? If there's going to be a bunch of fighting going on would it be best to get rid of 2 out of the 3 drakes? Or would I be better off getting rid of all the drakes?

1. Yes, you will need to either get rid of 2 of the drakes or add several more hens for a better ratio. Sometimes even a 1:1 ratio isn't enough.
2. It is possible that your drake could try to breed your chickens. If this starts happening you will need to separate them immediately because it can cause serious damage or even death.

Ok thank you. I want to try to solve the problem before it even becomes one! This is my second year with ducks but my first with chickens. The two are very different
