Congratulations to your first eggs! - Ducks are not like chickens, a duck won't lay an egg a day. With 15 ducks i calculate an average of 12 per day. Nothing to worry about if all of the girls are behaving normal.
those girls of ours promised 1 egg/day! lol... we are very happy with all the progress- when we can buy an incubator we will incubate- the goal is 150 hens within 1 year or so...

My pekin definitely is an exception. She started laying at merely 4 months 3 weeks old, and has been laying everyday for 3 months straight.

My runners on the other hand, are over 5 months old and have not laid yet. They haven't even started laying flat yet so I know it's still a long while before they'll lay eggs.

Do not worry about an egg or two not being there every day. My question for you is how long are your daylight hours this time of year ? Since you are in the winter right now, I think you are lucky to get any eggs.
you know geography!!!! winter in Chile- W are in Villarrica which is GREAT!!!
We added light for 16 hours of light- 1 week after adding the light they started laying...

our runner/KC cross started laying at 7 months after adding light

Good point @Texag87 ! I forgot that Chile is on the southern hemisphere.
Yes duck's egg production slows down somewhat during the winter unless you add artificial light. But the girls need that break, so i wouldn't.
@PATOS - don't you guys have a permanent headache due to walking around with your heads below your feet?
