Las week I had a 2 year old red sex link that died in a nest box. I checked her over and didn't see any outward signs of anything wrong so I chalked it up to mother nature and carried on. I watch them everyday and everybody seems fine (flock of 28 now). Today I went in the coop to clean it out (I go in everyday) and change the bedding and there was another one dead in the middle of the coop. Once again it doesn't appear to have any outward damage. I tried calling the vet but they were out so I'm calling in the morning. Anybody have any ideas of things to check before I go to see the vet tomorrow?
