My OEGB eggs tend to hatch a little early, (a day or so), so I decided to peer into the incubator tonight to see if there was any action. Tonight is day 19, the chicks should hatch on Wednesday. I'm not going to do anything with this egg, just see if it progresses. The good news is that blood is not puddling under the egg, instead it looks like the site bled a little when it was pipped. (Not an active bleeder).

I agree, it does look good.
I had one my last hatch that did the exact same thing. It pipped from the side and must have hit a blood vessel.
About 2 hours later the chick pipped the shell again but this time more towards the large end and eventually hatched itself out fine.

Good luck with the rest of your hatch and keep us posted.

Looks fine to me - Just keep watch of it but don't worry too much, it looks like the chick just pierced the vessel and not much more.
