Hallo! I am a new chicken owner and I have a flock of 4. Two of Our Girls are EEs. They are all 16 weeks old, so I am very excited to see our egg colors once that starts to happen! Here are some more pics of my EE in better lighting. I had to move his/her kennel to the garage since it is suppose to get in the 50s tonight! The comb is not as red as it looked in the other pic!! You have been so helpful.

She's fully feathered. She handle 50 degree weather just fine.

My clean faced EE is 3rd from left

Lavender Ameraucana/EE (Im not for sure which as the breeder does both and I just asked her to bring out the 1 week old chicks and picked from several bins) I didn't know there was a difference at that time. She hasn't laid yet.

So you thinks it's is a female? The lady I bought her from said at 6 weeks up until at least 10 weeks you have to keep above 63?? Is that not correct?? Sorry I am new at this and want to take good care of my baby EE!

Not correct at all. Once feathered in, they can handle anything an adult bird can.
