Trying to figure out what my Easter eggers are crossed with. They are from TSC and two are rumpless so I assume they are Americauna crosses but their coloring looks just like Buff brahmas and they are also looking more chonky with their feathers around their legs like cochins. I tried to get their combs. There are four but they all seem to look basically the same other than rumps and specific colors.

Also have two black sex links from TSC but they both have feathered feet and don't look exactly the same. One looks like a black copper maran and the other is completely black with green sheen and black face. (Only have a picture of the all black one)

Ameraucanas have tails.. I believe you're thinking Araucanas which are rumpless.
I'm not really seeing any rumpless birds in your pics. Also not seeing any Ameraucana or Araucana traits. I think you got straight buff Brahmas.
Idk about the sex links but I've not heard of any of the sex links having feathered legs except for the BC Marans/ Cuckoo Marans crosses. Idk what Hoovers were calling them but that would explain the one colored like a BCM.
It's always so up in the air with birds from TSC because Hoover's makes so many crazy crosses and between both companies it seems it's rare to get any labeling correct.

Here's a couple more pictures of their rumps, especially the one right next to the other with a tail. I really didn't think they were pure brahmas as they are about 10 days younger than my marans and RIRs and still noticeably smaller. Brahmas are big birds right? I would think they would be gaining on the others at this point.

They look like pure Buff Brahmas to me.
As for the Sex Links, they actually look like Midnight Majesty Marans I think, or maybe Black Copper Marans.
I'm really hoping they are not pure brahmas. I don't really have the extra space for larger birds and it gets pretty hot here. Not what I was expecting! Plus mine aren't super friendly and are louder than my older ones which aren't really Brahma traits. The also seem to have more energy and are the ones I see trying to be more dominant over each other.

With the marans, I just find it interesting that they aren't just alike. One has copper on her neck and a red comb and wattles. She's pretty friendly. The other one is completely black with greenish sheen and black face. They are the same age so just interesting that they look kind of different.

I'm pretty sure they are pure breeds, not sure what else they could be. :idunno

I've found that copper appearance can vary between birds.

So I'm not sure the difference between rumpless and no tail feathers. They all seem to have a tail bone but some of them have short tails and some have long tails. Why would their tails be different? The only thing I can conclude is that they are a mix. I'm really hoping they aren't full brahma; we have hot summers and our coop is not built to accommodate larger hens. :/

Their tails being different is probably an individual thing.
How hot are your summers? How big is your coop and how many chickens do you have?

We are in upstate SC so we have a good month of 90+ temps and humidity.
Coop is 6x6 with 8 hens total - 4 are this Brahma type the others are RIR and Marans. Run will be about 200 sq ft.

With the right care Brahmas should be able to get through that heat. I've seen some people on here say their Brahmas do pretty well in the heat.
But you are right about not enough coop space, you're about at max.
