Egg production after a molt?

We are in the process of going through our second molt with our 10 hens. Before last years molt, I was getting 7-9 eggs a day from the girls. After the molt, I was lucky if I got 5 a day. Is this normal for egg production to drop off so much after a molt? I'm starting to become concerned about what the egg production will look like after this molt. I read in another thread that the Nature Feather Fixer may help with the molt, is there anything else I can do to make it easier for the girls?

Egg production will always decrease year over year.
Depending on breed, some will drop off more than others.
What breeds do you have?
Optimal nutrition and good management will maximize production.
Some breeds and egg hybrids may play out after a couple years. Others can lay for up to 10 years.
Leghorns, RIRs, Aorps, Fayoumis, Delawares, Dominiques, Hamburgs, Wyandottes, Sussex, Penedesencas and others can lay between 200 and 300 a year.
Asils, Cornish, Phoenix, Sebrights, Shamos, Yokohamas, Sumatras may lay only a handful of eggs up to about 100 a year.
