EMERGENCY- HELP!!

Aw that's great to hear

they are more resilient than we know sometimes

Unfortunately, today I found a dead pullet (nearly identical, likely the same) in the rear corner of the coop.

It was upsetting after the hard work and care.

I regret not keeping her in the house longer, a lesson learned.

Thank you for the condolences.

This week was horrid.

1st, The chicken died, for which I feel somewhat guilty.
2nd, our cat had acute liver failure, and after a $500 Emergency vet visit, he didnt make it. I buried him at home.
3rd, the very same day the neighbor (1 mile away) dog snapped his chain and a 100-pound NorweigianElkhound charged my fiance and our new lab we adopted. Dog has puncture wounds to the face and fiance is very emotional.

No pity party invitations, but seriously... I need a break.
