Anywhoo... this is so incredible! That egg is just the most beautiful / amazing thing ever. And then to see it hatch... oh my gosh!

So glad I finally found this thread. Better late than never.

I can't believe I missed this too! We've wanted a emu as well, but I didn't know how hard it would be to actually hatch one. That's just awesome & she is just too darn cute

It's great that she loves the sound of people! Sounds like you already have a few week old ratite better socialized than most people have their dogs!
