I am waiting for some emu eggs to hatch and i was wondering what kind of vitamin shot should i give them, i have had problems in the past with splayed legs, i ve read somewhere that i need to give a vitamin B complex and vitamin E & selinium shot, right after hatch, does anybody know how many cc do i need to give to every chick? I ve also heard that vitamin Ecan be given orally in a gel form, whats your opinion? which is better? also i cannot get any commercial ratite feed in my region, in the past i was feeding normal chick starter which has around 21% of protein, this time i am planning to feed pellet, what concentracions of protein does it need to have and can i feed emu chicks pellets straight from the start?
