Perhaps philosopically – emu-sophically – all that matters is ‘get away from them if need arises,’ whether that is in a large or small space. I’m surprised that no one has ever noted one obvious point: captive birds live much longer, and some do so in much less stressful environments (certainly than woodwardi in the desert!).
The Answer to The Sounds Thing will be to get some quality recordings, and post them. I will start this next year, when my U.N. Grant comes through. I gonna hold my opinion ‘til I’ve figured a bunch of stuff out!
