Hey there! Do you have a floofy chicken you would like to share? This is a contest for the fluffiest, floofiest, boofiest, chicken you have! The rules are fairly basic, but PLEASE read them:
RULES:
Must be a chicken
Must show Chickens full body, or at least most of it.
3 entries per member, up to 3 photos per entry
MUST be your photo
Chicken must be older than 6 weeks.
Can be bantam, standard, basically all full-grown chickens are allowed
The chicken must be alive... please and thank you.
Silkies are allowed.
May be Roosters or Hens.
Keep this family friendly please. (follow ALL BYC rules)

Please follow this format:

*Name of chicken
Breed/variety (not applicable to some breeds like EE)
Standard or Bantam
*A little bit about the chicken:
Up to three photos per entry
*=optional

Example:
Name: Cupcake
Breed: Buff Brahma
Size: Standard
About: Cupcake is one of my first chickens. She may look fierce, but she's a sweet as can be. She's the heaviest of my flock, weighing in at about 9lbs.

There will be two categories, with 3 winners each: Silkie and Hard feathered.

Anyway, I hope you join! I will be judging along with @Starburst, my twin. There are no prizes, but you will get bragging rights!

If you do win, make sure to give the chicken that won some extra cuddles or mealworms!

Contest ends April 10th at Noon, PST. Results will be posted by April 15th.

Also, feel free to post pictures that are of other poultry types, or of your chicks. Just specify, and know that they WON'T be judged. :)

Not entering BUT.......OMG! 😂🤣😂 Do I dare ask how the "Chicken must be alive" rule came about? I spit my coffee. :lau
🤣 It's because I really, really don't want to see necropsy photos or something.

I actually don't mind if they have moved on from this life, but I do not want to see dead chickens.
