Hi live in northern Wisconsin and am currently trying to build a chicken coop. i have 9 pullets , 4 of which are laying eggs and i really liked the idea of being able to collect eggs from otisde the coop, but my dad wass worried about the fact that they would be drafty for the girls... really would like some advice :) thanks!

Here's my setup

The egg door opens to a solid wall, but only hand sized holes are cut out. This cuts down on any draft. Oh and the nests are not exterior, but built inside. Eggs can freeze in either case at negative 30 if we don't check often
