I've gone through this since February and Penny finally broke up today...No eggs to sit on and now she's running around the backyard with Obelisk.

My hen is similar except its not completely bald. It's been like that for a long time, and he hardly EVER lays.. Any idea what that is? And I'm really confused as to why she doesn't lay in the first place.. She is going to be 2 this year but she acts like a completely normal hen. Is she just done laying??

sometimes they pluck their feathers to get some protein. Laying eggs and growing feathers requires lots of protein, if they are low in rank they may not get much feed time since the bullies will try to stop them from getting food. You can try to give her some extra protein and make sure she is eating. BOSS has extra protein in the seeds
