Ok so right now I have 8 9wk old chicks in a 6x4 coop and it seems they are plucking the feathers of only 1 chick. The odd this is, I think this chick is a rooster. Could it be they dont like him? I am planning on giving my MIL 3 of my chicks today, so I will go down to 5. Which I think is a better for our coop size. I might even go down to 4 later, will see. Do you think this will continue once they are moved to my MIL's? Or that they are just cramped in their coop right now?
