Feed suppliers - Raleigh area

hi I live in the Wake Forest area and I drive to Louisburg to Town and country they are an authorized Purina and Blue Seal dealer the blue seal is organic, you just have to call Terry at Town and Country in Louisburg and tell him what you want and he'll order it if he does not have it. He is also a very good resource for chickens!

I also have to agree with Mike from little birdie hatchery I also use them for supplies and chickens they are awesome!

I know this thread is a little old, but thought I'd put my 1.2 cents worth in just the same :)

Little Birdie Hatchery has very good quality feed. I grew up farming and have spent many, many, many hours harvesting feed so I have some experience with excellent quality feed vs. good quality feed vs. junk food feed :). I can personally attest to the exceptional quality of the mule city feed (they are located in Benson, NC) from little birdie hatchery. It is always of the highest quality, I've never had issues with bugs or mold - I do store it inside (with heating and air conditioning) so I won't have these problems. Reedy Fork is also exceptionally high quality food. It is impossible to go wrong with either one - just depends on whether you are looking for Organic feed or not. The reedy fork feed is quite a bit more expensive, but again - are you looking for organic feed for your chickens or not? If you are looking for organic feed reedy fork is hard to beat IMHO. If you aren't into organic feed - I'd recommend the mule city feed from little birdie hatchery without question.
