Feeding chicks worms?

Ewwww I found a HUGE yellow worm by my horse corrals this morning. It was about two inches long and fatter than a pen.... so disgusting. So I picked it up with a shovel and tossed it in the run. Those girls went CRAZY! I love chicken "keepaway"!
