At what age is it okay to start giving chicks greens like lettuce? My chicks are 7 weeks old.

At about one week of age I begin giving a few 1/2 inch grass clippings, and chick grit sprinkled over the food.
Lettuce- should be fine if you give them grit or they can find it in the soil free ranging. I would chop it up very fine for them. When they are that age sometimes they will reject treats. I would offer it in small quanities.
