Feeding Yoghurt

I tried giving my chicks yoghurt this morning. They seemed interested, but before they could really get going, they were walking in it! Their feet quickly became a nasty mess of yoghurt and shavings. I took the dish out of the brooder and cleaned them off, and started wondering, is their a way to feed yoghurt without getting them soaked with it??

A bigger brooder is not an option at the moment, nor is an outdoor run (I have no building skills and no money!) Are boiled eggs less messy? Thanks!

Mix it with their feed and it will become less messy.
