After dealing with this for a bit, we ended up making our duck pools really shallow, so the water just hits under goose's belly when he is in the pool, thus he doesn't have to wrestle ducks going under the water. I have noticed that they bathe in the pool, but Goose spends less time trying to mate. We also pre-empted this by separating the males from the females for 48 hours to help "reset" the flock dynamic.
