Fighting Ganders and broodies geese all mixed together, can it work?!

Yes, if you have the place, resources and facilities to do so. Not everyone does have the resources, money, space, etc. to provide separate housing for such birds. It's always been my experience that a few produce much better than a lot, even if you do have sufficient space. When birds start doing things like sharing nests, you seldom get a decent hatch. Usually a complete bust.
 
I've heard that you should not put food near the brooding goose because the eggs are likely to get disturbed and crushed by both the broody & other geese.
