Finding a blanket that fits over my donkey's belly

Viggo is my 15 year old mini donkey and has a good-sized belly. I've tried Tough-1 mini blankets and they just don't come down far enough on his sides. The biggest problem is that they are constantly shifting to one side. I've used the single and crossed surcingle style, a tail strap, and configuring the leg straps every way possible. Nothing has helped keep the blanket centered on him. Can anyone suggest another brand that is wider at a size 50 or 51 inches?

If you sew, know someone who sews, or have a horse-blanket repair place in your area, you could buy a larger size and have it made shorter from back-to-front.
This is kinda what I was thinking.
Maybe you could purchase a Tough 1 Snuggit blanket for horses in the smaller size. It might be wide enough, and I've measured way to big once and ordered a Touch 1 that was to large. Still fit my mare great because of the Snuggit Neck.
Then maybe it wouldn't matter that it was to long because the Snuggit neck will hold it in place?
